It was a long day at Driftwood for Blake for it was nothing but busy, yet she wasn't complaining. It was better than doing nothing. She'd rather be doing stuff the whole day than stare at the clock for her shift to be over.
After she finished waiting on the final person that was in line, she could relax for a bit. Letting out a sigh of relief, she messed with her shaky hands as she leaned against the counter. Her eyes, however, went to a woman that was sitting at one of the tables. She seemed to have been doing some work, and Blake remembered she hadn't come up to the counter to order any coffee.
A couple hours went by, the busiest hours were finally over and it was now slow. Blake's eyes went back to the woman sitting down. She still hadn't gotten any coffee. Blake gulped in an awkward manner. She's so pretty. I keep staring. I hope she hadn't noticed me? That would be awkward.. She thought to herself. She fidgeted with the ring on her index finger before she slid out from behind the counter and headed over to her. Blake what are you doing.. She thought again before she went to the woman and cleared her throat, then gulping loudly.
"Hey, uh.. I've noticed you've been here for a while, wanna get a coffee?" She asked before quickly catching herself and then smiling softly. "I mean.. Do you want a coffee? I'll pay for it?"
Good god, at least learn how to talk correctly before talking to a girl.. Blake thought, chewing the inside of her lip.
