“ SO DO I GET TO SEE YOUR ROOM AND EVERYTHING ? ” they’ve just finished getting through security -- more of a hassle than caden had expected, considering they’re spy students AND politician’s children -- and caden's glancing around every room they walk in like it’s a museum. in some ways, it kind of is. the idea of how many presidents have walked through these halls is pretty cool, even for him. “ do you get to go into the oval office and everything ? the situation room ? that’s a thing, right ? ” @rubymeriwether
IF IT WAS ANYONE ELSE, caden would come over with a bottle of something to drink. however, bringing a bottle of wine to ruby after her dad’s victory would feel more like a CELEBRATION than anything else. so instead he comes empty-handed, offering her a hesitant smile when she answers the door. “ hey, you hungry ? i was gonna head to the dining hall, and could use the company. ” there’s no mistake the gentle concern in his eyes. @rubymeriwether
