Yes, IBEW! Which I'm really excited that he's going to be a part of because if we decide to go anywhere other than here for any reason some day you have a starting point in new cities with IBEW. How cool that we have this in common!

My dad owns an electrical company, he's a master electrician/contractor. Earlier this year when we were struggling for money my dad offered Stephen a helper's position. Since we're a union company it paid really well and it's pretty damn permanent. Now that he's been in it a few months the apprenticeship application deadline is rolling around with the new year. He doesn't seem that desperate to go apply, but anytime I sit him down to talk about it he assures me that it is what he wants. It's a great profession, it's a stable profession, and I'm really excited to see Stephen getting into it. I've always grown up with it, my grandpa was one, as were my uncles. Plus, this way it gives us a great bridge to take over the company once my father retires. He's always wanted to give it to one of us daughters but I never thought I could handle it because I had no inside knowledge. But over the next 20 years Stephen will be learning and working his way up and I can too! It's very exciting. It just puts stress on me as far as childbearing goes because Stephen has never been good with schoolwork. Getting him to stay focused on the school and not just the hands on part of it is going to be impossible, and will be even more difficult if I'll be distracted and focused on bringing a baby into the world.
Congrats on your little one and your loved one almost being done with the apprenticeship! It's no easy task!
@Cadencescorner: I have to manually express and Drop milk into his mouth. granted it still takes forever and a half but as long as he doesn't freak out he eventually latches on and stays on for 20-30 minutes. he's really hungry! I prefer breast feeding to pumping because pumping hurts my nipples
@cadencescorner
Not even that hold works for me! :( I'm so frustrated I broke down over it last night. He's been bottle feeding today but I hate pumping. I want. To hold him!

The thing that really gets me is back when I was in high school, or in my freshman year in college, I'd get to talking to adults and they'd always say things like. "You are so well spoken for your age." "You have great thoughts!" etc, etc. But now I always seem to get told, "You'll change your mind when you're older." and I don't know it's because I've gotten stupid in the past couple years or if it's because I'm actually being honest about my opinions and not coming up with fancy sentences to back up their opinions I think are flawed.
@Cadencescorner: I actually like the tea! I found it today at Target. A birdie told me they sold it there, and she was right. It tastes reaaaaally good. C:
@cadencescorner: OH MAN I DID THAT AND THE OILY FEELING IS SO WEIRD! lol. I put a capsule in and laid down but I can feel it meeeltiiinngg
