Biscuit is part dog-part human, which has given rise to many inner conflicts. She feels often like people ignore her humanity and instead view her as "just a dog". She is in college because she wants to prove her intelligence and worth to people as something other than a novelty. She works very hard at school to try to prove this to not only others, but herself.
She feels comfortable with the Aquabats, as they, too, do not fit in completely with society at large, having chemically-induced superpowers and all. However, still, she feels distant from them, detached. She will never be a full human, but she wants people to consider that she will never be a full dog, either.
She feels fundamentally inferior to others, which leads to her being awkward and needlessly apologetic at times. She's generally calm, friendly, and weird. She enjoys it greatly when people affirm her humanity and intellect, to the point where she feels like she owes them a favor for doing so. Sometimes, she can act slightly pretentious or show-offy because she really wants people to call her smart.
She is very aware of her insecurities and weaknesses but has trouble admitting them to others due to fear of being taken advantage of. She tries to deal with most things on her own to avoid this, or to avoid being perceived as weak.
She's very docile and noncombative, tries to avoid confrontation at all costs. She's also quite introverted and values her alone time.
She goes by it/its pronouns secretly as a way to try and embrace her beast side, as she tends to view it as a source of weakness and a way for others to objectify her. She will on occasion slip into a more doglike behavioral pattern when she's alone or with someone she trusts a lot.
