      considering that upon arrival in the city he was the first child she took in, it should go without say that she is protective of the teenager. the presumptuous behavior and tendency to distance himself from other people bears a significant resemblance of how she once was, and so she has an honest desire to help him overcome this emotional blockade when the boy will readily accept her help. time with him can become awkward due to their extreme time gap — he from over a century in the past, her from the distant future — and it really does show, but it also allows them to grow closer through the shared struggle of adapting to the year they’ve found themselves in. they generally have an amicable relationship, one more reserved than openly affectionate, but it’s a comfortable one. she really does value the boy’s life just as much as she does his happiness; one day she hopes he comes to adore her as much as she does him.

      Visitation should not have necessarily been unorthodox once mental functions had proven stable enough for interaction with those outside of the hospital staff. Nevertheless, it an unexpected ordeal, one that the women in question did not feel quite prepared for. It was already a daily struggle to simply remain substantially soothed, the turbulent emotions endured in the time following the incident making it increasingly difficult to even manage pointless small talk. It wasn’t that she could not speak, vocal chords unaffected and in working condition, but rather the soldier could not find the willpower, the strength, to partake in conversation.

      The avoidance had met an end when informed that an individual had come to see her in particular, the name of the guest not so much as provided. Left to contemplate just whom it could be with an unhealthy amount of apprehension, lethargically was body brought into an upright position that had muscles nearly scream in protest. The inactivity clearly having had a toil upon her form, how truly uncomfortable it felt was subsided in order to appear somewhat presentable despite the hospital gown currently donned. Hands rested upon one another in her lap, firmly grasping each other as head lowered for gaze to remain downwards when the door was opened for the visitor to enter.

      Silence was what greeted the unknown company, but it would not reign indefinitely. Lips would release a muted sigh, as if breathed out was the exhaustion of guilt that had prevented speech. ❝I know that you came all this way, and I’m sorry .. but I don’t think I’m someone you should want to talk to. I wouldn’t even know what to say now ..❞ Voice displayed how utterly taxing it had all been, tired and somewhat rough from the strain her throat had been through. The self-depreciation was just as evident, but it should’ve been expected.

          It'd be in her best interests to get to know the other inhabitants of the mansion and ever since she's been informed that there were children around her age, she feels a bit more at home than before. A gentle knock is given to one of the many rooms as she waits for it to be answered by whoever had laid claim to this one in particular. She could only hope that things would go well, as she did not want to be disliked. ❝ ..Uhm, I am sorry to be a bother but..since I am now living here with you..I think it would be best for us to get to know one another. I hope I am not imposing. ❞ she says, just audible enough for whoever was in that room. If they didn't wish to come to the door, that's fine with her, but she had to at least try.

starting over.

     ⊰ ♚ ⊱—; Of all the magnificent and winding tales she's heard of this city, one might overcome the rest. A day of spending with your loved one, or the one you most cherished-- she thought love should be cherished, a mighty fine day. Filled with an extra sense of love, naturally she heeds towards wherever Ciel could be currently located. A warmer, bubbly sensation emits from her lungs now bouncing upon toes. 

     Dancing across hallways, at last she spots the Phantomhive; coming to a halt before his person, latching onto him for dear life. Excitement filled the air, she squeezes his sides, before letting out a single shrill, ❝Ciiiiiiiiiiiiiel!❞

     ❝I have been searching for you everywhere!❞ And thrilled would be an understatement. ❝Do you know what today is? Have you heard? Have you?❞ Slow down, Lizzy.

It hadn't even been hours since her arrival, and already she was having the time of her life. All these strange, towering structures that loomed over her petite stature had truly given her intimidation, but her heart raced from pure ecstasy. Emerald hues radiating from fascination as she passed by each one, it was then that she stopped in front of a claw machine that contained many endearing toys inside.

One that had particularly caught her attention was a stuffed rabbit in the center, waiting for withdrawal. Hands lightly pressed against the transparent barrier as she continued to gaze at it, her balloon contraption was tapped from behind that caused her to turn around. The moment she did, eyes dilated once more from noticing who it was.

❧ -- [ Ciel!!... ] It would have been appropriate for her to ask of his well being, and yet it seemed like that wasn't the case for now. Quickly taking his hand to pull him near the game, she pointed at it as if he didn't realize it already.

❧ -- [ Tell me what this is! This contraption is most fascinating! ]

Unlike the others, Ciel actually doesn’t leave this particular gift at the door, deciding to actually hand item over. “Here, Merry Christmas.” He states simply, and hands the gift over to younger. It’s a toy rabbit, one with velvet brown fur dressed in a white dress with a red rose clasped in its hand and another the blossom of another tucked next to its ear. “It’s custom, so take care of it.”

Eyes glistened at the sight of her gift, her heart paced quickly just by the sight of the delicate gift. Such softness was a rarity with toys, and she could only wonder how he was able to afford it. Comparing to the gift she had given him prior, she assumed it wasn't enough at all. In order to let the other understand how she thankful she felt, the child held the other tightly into her grasp, chin resting on his torso.

"I'll name him Ciel 2... because he's cute like you. I'll take really good care of Ciel 2! Merry Christmas..."

  He had felt the presence of a certain demon, but to have sight of the young master was truly an interesting concept. Of course, even through dimensions and the impossible, somehow the two had found each other again. The story of these beings were dull. However, the new setting was surely one that he could force to be vibrant.

  Approaching the Earl as he would always, he gave a grin, voice staying it's usual creepy demeanor, the Undertaker thinking that their last encounter would not influence the now. At least, not when his butler wasn't by his side. Grabbing a coffin from the closet of his shop, he put it in the view of the other

  "Just in time, actually. I've been making a new coffin for you, seeing as I heard it was your birthday recently. Hop in, hop in, let's see if it fits."

     It had taken a great deal longer than he'd have liked to locate the soul and body he'd been separated from. By the inventions of mere humans craving for the position of God, they had somehow managed to cap the abilities every demon possessed. In any normal situation, he may applaud them for their efforts. However, the bitter taste of annoyance left him with the desire to off them immediately for constraining a contract's power. It became quite the effort to track down a single soul within a very large and unfamiliar city, although the aid of the address did help.

     Doubt not, however, the ability of a noble butler. The fabric of heavy curtains teased the boundaries of the window, lying still as very little movement was made inside the room. Climbing to the window sill from the bottom posed no problem for the flexible acrobat, and now the only barrier between him and his master was the thick glass of the window. As of someone gently rapping, rapping on the window panes, the raven waited with a smile about his face for the human inside to let him in.
