Sunyoung placed her phone to the side with a small sigh. She folded her arms over the table and rested her chin on top of it, waiting for Jake to arrive. She was already in the library, arriving about thirty minutes before their planned meeting in the hopes that she might figure out some of her English assignments. The final verdict? No progress at all. She had a few worksheets about vocabulary and homonyms which were doable with some time. She couldn’t fathom why they made some English words sound the same. Her main concern however was the oral part of their final exam where they had to introduce themselves and explain the range and limit her abilities all in English. It sounded easy but with her track record of trying to figure out the correct grammar usage then in turn, blanking out in the middle of speaking, it sounded like a nightmare.
