a cafe where you can feel like you're on another world.

if you are looking for a cafe with surprising vibe, then i recommend you to visit 'Tugu Lor'! today, i visited another good place that have nice atmosphere.

when i went to this cafe, the weather was so cold and the sky was cloudy; with gray cloud like it was about to rain. as i arrived there, i was confused because the front of the cafe was like a bakery shop and i didnt know where to park my motorcyle. the place was like so small that i thought i should park somewhere, turned out they small parking area for the motorcycles and the car parking was infront of the bakery shop.

again, im confused for the second time to find where was the door to get inside the cafe before i found a small 'gate' that led us into like one floor below so we should walked down through the stairs.i was not expecting that in the middle of the city, they built a cafe with forest vibe. the atmosphere was getting better because the weather was so cloudy cold; making me feeling like we were in twilight movie where bella and edwars ran to the forest.

we decided to sit on the second floor (actually first floor) and received our beverage order because for me the price for the food was still expensive for an ex student like me. we liked the ambience that it felt you were having a good time with your loved ones and the wind breezes passed your face gently. but to be very honest i was feeling cold and afraid got my cold allergic because for sure it was so chilly, the wind was pretty strong too.

we chitchat and of course taking pictures there for like 1-2 hours, accompanied by the wind and the shy sun.

for me, this cafe is a good place for you to chill and do your homework because the ambience can help you to focus. despite the food and the beverage, giving a try to visit is not a bad choice.

I went there because of a recommendation from a colleague’s friend- the place is located at Hongkong Street. Which is actually very convenient. Take a train or bus to Central at Clarke Quay, and cross the road. Ta-daaa! (Maybe a really short walk?)
