I was going to add "top 10 ways in which this blog has actually changed my life," but I don't have any life changes since I came here.

Plural culture is leaving to get a haircut, coming back with the haircut, and barely remembering the actual haircut. But at least whoever chose the style chose a good one.

Because of the nature of our system, it’s kind of hard to tell whether we’re just blurry, dissociated, or there’s a new/undiscovered member fronting. We don’t have blackout amnesia between alters so we don’t use things like a journal to keep track, and even then it’s hard to tell who is who a lot of the time.

Is there any way to make this easier?

hm, i think keeping track of headmates who are fronting would be a good way to constantly be aware of who’s fronting. i’ve seen some systems assume that if someone unrecognizable shows up dont count them as a new headmate until they show up twice.

as a large system we really understand what you’re going through. if it weren’t for our partner system and us logging fronts we’d be blurry all the time, in times away from both of these things its been really hard to tell for us. you’re not alone!!
