sorry to be spamming you fkjsdh but got another idea: saeyoung recording mc's voice to use as a alarm, because somedays it gets bad(tm) for him and since they aren't living together yet, he uses a voice message mc sent him a while ago that said "good morning honey! time to wake up~". so now he wakes up to her voice and it's easier to actually get off the bed :')
No, no, it’s all good! I love it when people send me ideas like this. Everyone winds up making a cute little AU together when stuff like this happens so I thrive when people do it. That one really made my heart hurt. But, like, in a good way so to speak because Saeyoung can be really wholesome when he wants to be that way.
I imagine that this would be likely something that he would do during the Secret End when they’re staying in the apartment while he tends to everything with you-know-who. It’s really stressful for him to get through the brunt of that on his own but having MC there, even if they’re not physically there, is something that could make it easier to get by, emotionally, at least.
He just needs that little pick-me-up to tide him over and make him feel like this is worth it, and it will work out in the end. He doesn’t punch the clock across the room when it’s MC’s voice coming through the thing. He just opens his eyes and lets out a sigh.
“Honey, I love you,” he’d mumble to himself, apologizing for keeping you waiting this long, but he’s grateful you understand him.
