She knew the name before she knew the person, actually. She very carefully read the files on all of the ikkou before she came to fight them (and still she underestimated them). So she realized who he was right away.
She might have been a little confused when she heard them calling him "saru", though. Maybe if she hadn't known who they were, she would've guessed that it was a shortened version of a name (like Saruhiko).
Goku was fighting as much as possible. He was dealing with both short and long range fighters. he was trying to keep up though. He managed to take some of them out, but not all. He just had to keep them away from her until she was done.
He was startled by the scream though. He wondered if he shook take her and flee. He could probably get them pretty far, but he didn’t know if the long range fighters would get him before they managed to escape.
He cursed. He wish he knew more about medicine and healing, but he wasn’t any good at it. He had tried a few times, but he was a fighter, not a healer like Hakkai.
When Alsielle came to about a minute later, she was slumped over the rock she'd been sitting against, her arm numb and blood pounding in her ears. She could still hear the sounds of battle around her distantly, though muffled, as if she was hearing them through water. She wasn't at her best right now--she was coherent enough to know that much. Even so, she knew she had to move.
Getting her good arm under her, she slowly started to push herself upright. She could still fight. Even like this, even with one arm utterly useless, she knew she could fight.
In the corner of her vision, she saw a sword swing down towards her. She turned, she snarled, and an instant later her fangs sank into her attacker's throat and she tore.

Ok, so maybe Gojyo had drank more then a little too much that night but at the moment he was feeling good and having fun dancing and singing around the room him and Goku were sharing. Suddenly getting this bright idea, Gojyo turned and made his way over to Goku as he started singing.

His serenading could use some work, but his singing and dancing weren’t that bad, even while drunk.
