CAIS is dead....CAHB is gone...
My work here is done :)
In addition to the last post I’d like to just add a bit of evidence to support what I’m saying. I’m posting just a little bit here, but this is a good starting point for anyone.
Looking into the history of the t slur reveals a distinct use of the term to refer to trans WOMEN. With the recent broadening of terms like “trans” etc., people mistakenly assume slurs targeted at one subset of the trans community historically can be used to refer to all trans people. I would encourage CAHB to do some digging into the history of the term. Of course, it’s use today is still very, very predominantly against trans women, so modern day evidence still supports its use as a specifically transmisogynistic slur.
The reality is that even within the trans community, trans women and non-tme individuals are sanctioned to the lowest class. Trans men and tme people are capable of transmisogyny, and assuming that they can reclaim the t slur is an example of this sort of privilege.
Also, I’d like to note that it IS possible for someone to be called a slur they can’t reclaim. Obviously. Many slurs targeted at nonblack POC are some variant or modification of the n-word, but it is generally understood that these people cannot reclaim the n-word.
I for one have been called the t slur on many occasions, by cis people bigoted enough to be discriminatory to trans people but stupid enough to not even look up whether they’re using the right insult. I’m tme. I know that I can’t reclaim this term even though it was levied against me.
CAHB encourages people to not ignore the experiences of trans men speaking out about this sort of thing. In the process, they seem to have forgotten to listen to the lived experiences of trans women, those most oppressed by this word.
TW below for transmisogyny, transphobia, and trans fetishization
CAHB talking about the term “cracker” being a slur
CAHB misgendering CAIS and then doubling down on it.
It’s not the responsibility of CAHB to tell CAIS what is and isn’t misgendering when CAIS is uncomfortable being called by a gendered term. Trans people hold the authority in stating what terms make them feel misgendered. “Guy” is a gendered term, and CAIS is justified in calling CAHB’s use of the term misgendering.
This is a bit of a stretch, but I reckon this is also born somewhat out of the bias that nonbinary people are assumed AFAB. I for one know quite a few AMAB nonbinary people who are uncomfortable with being called “guy” due to its association with their AGAB. Frankly there are some AFAB people who are uncomfortable with it too!
Long story short, though used generically very often, “guy” is a gendered term, and a trans person is completely valid in stating their discomfort with being called a gendered term they are not aligned with.
CAHB stating that they don’t doubt the validity of special interests and then proceeding to doubt the validity of CAIS’s special interest.
They also call the autistic anon here biased. As an allistic person CAHB has little right to speak on an autistic person’s special interests or autistic matters in general, no matter how questionable CAIS is as a person.
word you can be whoever you wanna be and I’m not gonna pressure you to reveal anything about your identity
anons you get can speculate about me or my beliefs or who i am or if i’m part of any hate CAHB has gotten etc etc etc but just know this blog is only meant to document CAHB! I have no interest in trying to provoke CAHB, and I don’t want to interact with them from this blog, so don’t worry about any of that! (they’ve probably blocked me anyway). Like i said, I’m just here to document.
