Caidos del mapa is an argentinian book series about a bunch of young children, and their adventures across the years since seventh grade all up to like, college.
And it's pretty funny, the characters are very memorable and strong, but there's also this... Drama? I'd say?
Like characters date, characters break up, characters get back together, characters hate each other but then get along better, the situations all change.
And y'know. It's drama. Not over the top drama, not a thriller, but like. Complicated lives. And i like that about it.
Plus it was a huge part of my childhood, and im pretty sure it shaped some part of me in a big way. Like, it's been with me since like, one? Three? years after I learned how to read. These characters are ingrained in my brain, and it only took a light reread of one of them for a big part of the plot points to flood back in again.
I just. Really love it.
I don't know if people who didn't grow up with it will like it as much, but if you get the chance i absolutely recommend the series.
