Imagine an au where Caiman survived Ray's attack

Imagine the anger and pain they must ahve felt. Sure they knew their family wasn't doing the best thing, but they didn't deserve this. They didn't deserve to lose half their eyesight

Maybe they'd be angry with Ray, holding a grudge even after they dealt with Camellia.

Or maybe Ray can't bring herself to talk to them. Not only do they know they cause Caiaen to lose an eye, but their sibling now looks so much- too much- like Cypress, another dragon that had been hurt or died because of them.

Maybe they would never truely reconcile, with Caiman carrying the anger even after Ray's death. Avoiding conversations about her and even her memorial. After all, why would they go? They weren't close, they hardly spoke
