Once he accepts a job he refuses to quit because if he stops before he's completed the debt collection Iniko will punish him.
He made a deal with Iniko because he was dying from a heart tumor he didn't have the money to treat. He was on heavy drugs when he met Iniko aswell, so he didn't think the deal he was offered through.
The deal? Fetch all the debts Iniko is owed throughout the world/universe. Of course, now that Cain has completed that, Cain will collect debts for other people, given that the pay is good.
However, the punishment for not completing a job? Getting closer to death. It isn't clear on the pfp, but on his other hand/arm he has a long blue glove on. Under this glove his skin has neon 'strips'/growth crawling up his arm. Each time he fails a job it will grow further up his arm. It's at his elbow rn from failing 6 jobs.
