I’m a multi-fandom artist (and occasional fanfic writer) that tends to switch between interests often.
I also post about my OCs, and you can find stuff about them in my main tags! They will be labeled as their names, rather than ‘my oc’ or something. (example: “cain crown” or “resel o’ connor”)
If looking for Cain stuff, highly recommend looking through the ‘cain lore’ tag! Everything from this post and above is the most up-to-date, current canon lore for my characters as of now. If anything changes, I may potentially add an extra Cain tag for properly ‘canon’ stuff if necessary!

Fanart of my OCs is awesome! You can tag me if you want, I won’t mind! However, please do not claim my OCs as your own.
How do you feel about using your art for my icon?
I would mostly prefer you avoid doing so. But if you do, I only ask that you let people know that it’s my art you are using for your icon. I can’t exactly stop you if you choose not to, however.
Can I repost your art on other social medias?
Unfortunately, no. Especially with how likely it is that I won’t be credited in any way whatsoever. Probably best for you to stick to just reblogging my art on Tumblr!
How do I find info about your AO ocs?
You can usually look through the ‘arcane odyssey oc’ tag here, and just scroll through! Of course, if it’s a reblog then it’s not mine. I also have a tag solely for the Cains, along with the others (Abel Torres + Vincent Lynch).

My tags for fandom stuff usually aren’t all that consistent. If you want to look for stuff on my blog, it’s best you actively search it, rather than use specific tags.
I have a habit of rambling and switching topics/subjects often. I also tend to send big walls of texts when I get rather excited, so please bare with me. Just let me know politely if any of this happens, and I’ll stop right away!

- he spent most of his life living off of the ecology of the dungeon (monster food) after (insert ptsd inducing backstory) happened when he was just a youngin
- he doesn’t have kids and I genuinely think he’d be a bad parent because of how oblivious he can be at times, but he would try his hardest to keep them well fed
- he assumes that all halflings are children because they are small
- he doesn’t wash his beard and this makes it hard for magic to be cast on him
- he hates magic and sees it as a shortcut to getting things done the hard and right way
- he explains EVERYTHING he does when cooking so that those around him can learn from him
- he would make a great teacher of some kind of dungeon survival skills class
- he has a mithril cooking knife
- he turned a perfectly good mithril shield into a large wok he takes everywhere
- the fact that he is hot without his helmet is initially treated as a gag because of how silly he looks with it on
- he can be very careless outside of his obsession with cooking monsters (ignoring directions from his party members and not taking proper care of his supplies) (so real. adhd representation. not caring about anything but your hyperfocus. I understand king)
- one time he gave the birds and the bees talk to Chilchuck because he thought Chilchuck was a child (he’s literally just a young looking 29 year old halfling with three children) (eventually he realizes that Chilchuck as a halfling is essentially middle aged and they get closer bc he gets over his prejudices)(chilshi shoutout)
- he deeply believes in only taking what you need and giving back what you can. Don’t over harvest. Don’t destroy an ecosystem for your own gain. The ecology of the dungeon is important for everyone.

So! Are you having trouble finding an artist to commission and are wary of the DMs that strangers send you when you make a post that vaguely describes your struggles? You’re in luck! Here you’ll find some tips on how to find an artist to commission and how to avoid ‘artists’ who are being deceptive in their offers. I will go ahead and state I also do commissions but on occasion I’ll seek out friends to throw money at for art as well. Here is some tips on what to do:
Check out the artists portfolio: Most artists will keep a consistent style regardless of how much time has passed. Ensure that all the art they’re showing off is something they’ve made themselves and if something seems off trust your instincts and don’t be afraid to investigate further. Reverse image search should generally find stolen artwork though privately posted art isn’t easy to locate.
How long has the artist account been active overall: If the account is relatively new but draws extremely well it may be an artist who remade due to issues or just a beginner starting their journey. Check to see what the oldest piece was and compare it to something recent.
The method of contact: If the artist messaged you directly out of the blue be suspicious of why if you never interacted with them. If they immediately pressure you into commissioning them it is perfectly fine to decline and find someone else. Don’t feel forced into payment. It is up to you to decide not them.
Search around: Relying on artists to contact you first is a risk that may lead to scams. There is many ways to find artists who are open to commissions just search around or check tags that artists may use!
Gen-Ai use: Always ensure the artist you pick isn’t just tracing AI generated imagery.
Payment: Ensure all payments are done via trusted methods.
Additionally always search up usernames to see if there’s any pre-existing bewares! Feel free to add your own tips and tricks.

IMO, blurring the lines between “I’m defending them because they’re right” and “I’m defending them because you’re taking this too far” is step numero uno to cutting down the very existence of fair trial and democracy–even in places where saying that might seem a little dramatic.
Mob mentality is extremely strong in humans and it’s also extremely dangerous. Mobs don’t think things through. Mobs kill and they destroy and they can’t be reasoned with. Someone trying to calm a mob down isn’t someone defending the ~problematic party~ It’s time we re-learn that.
I like to think that Gangle does solo videogame/anime adventures and Caine joins her as an interactive spectator bc he has fomo lol. Of course, he can only watch her and not make any decisions for her ; he did, however, grow fond of glamrock Freddy and sometimes forget he's just spectating when making eye contact lol.
