Abandoned Nashville | Jan 2017 | Urban explorer extraordinaire, professional drummer, and friend. Photographed in deep Southern Illinois in a now destroyed Famous Barr building. There were Tiffany glass windows on the ceilings, and victorian era wallpaper dripping from the walls. Not long after the photograph was taken, someone went into the building and tried to take something off the building using a flamethrower, and burnt the damn thing down in the process. If you do drive through Cairo, please be mindful/know of it's history and that it's still home to a lot of good folks. Have respect in the forefront anytime you visit a place that has suffered immensely. Shot on Cinestill Film 800T beta.

We just drove through the town of Cairo Illinios. It was virtually abandoned, eerie with few souls around. Quite a gothic spooky scene especially since the dark of night was fast approaching. A real showstopper this town it all happened when a local bridge was closed off. It was a scene from horror movie or Half-life or The Last of Us.
