This Cajun spiced fish with creamy caper sauce is a delightful blend of spicy and creamy flavors. The Cajun seasoning adds a kick to the mild fish fillets, while the creamy caper sauce provides a tangy and rich accompaniment.
Ingredients: 4 fish fillets such as tilapia or cod. 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons capers, chopped. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels. Rub Cajun seasoning all over the fillets, ensuring they're evenly coated. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear fish fillets for 2 minutes on each side to get a nice crust. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, chopped capers, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the creamy caper sauce. Once the fish is cooked, serve hot with the creamy caper sauce drizzled over the top.
