Ohh you're vegan?? Do you have any recommendations for non-dairy stuff from the grocery store that doesn't have almonds?? I'm not vegan, my immune system just does what it wants, and right now I'm really enjoying the So Delicious coconut-based ice creams
For milk I use Oat Dream because I find it's best in tea, but regular soy milk for baking. You can also make you own oat milk really really easily and get the consistency/taste you want (plus it costs virtually nothing... just oats and water)
The best yoghurt I've had is Riviera brand oat-based (the coconut is good too, I'm just an oat girly). Silk is also good (and cheaper)
If you're Canadian and have President's Choice at your grocery stores they have a really good block of vegan butter that's great especially for baking
Violife and Earth Island are generally really great brands for cheese and cheese-related products. They're a bit pricey, but very good imo! If you ever need really fancy cheeses for some reason, Fauxmagerie Zengarry and Nuts for Cheese (both cashew-based) are incredible BUT ridiculously expensive
And finally, avoid Daiya products!! Almost every Daiya product I've tried has tasted pretty bad. Some people like it, but the general consensus is that it sucks
