Ok so Story time..... You know how sometimes you just stop looking for a shoe? Not because it’s unattainable but because you’re being stubborn about spending the money? Well that’s what it was for me with these DMP 6’s.. . . To everyone who knows me, y’all know it is 6’s over everything forever !!! My absolute favorite Jordan and shoe of all time! So it’s only right that the DMP’s would be on my list. . . I coulda had this shoe a number of times but again I just do the most for no reason. Even when they sat back in 2006 cause some people wasn’t with paying $300 for a pack that when you now think about it was nothing!! . . Anyway this weekend those Yeezy Zebras were suppose to release again and I told myself I would finally get a pair of Yeezy’s! S/O @_tatianaali_ and @thefreshfeen for telling me they would both hold me down if needed! But they got pushed back to next week. 🤷🏾♂️ . . But Sneaker Gods were feeling generous and felt I deserved a gem.. So why not go to Image and land my DMP 6’s for a sweet 174.26! Though the Air Jordan 1 has become Jordan Brand’s most hyped shoe, it goes a little deeper for us Sneaker enthusiasts. Over next couple of weeks, I will take you on a journey and let you step into my closet and explain to you why the Air Jordan 1 has such meaning to me. Today we kick it off with the Air Jordan 1 Retro Shadow 2013. Arguably top 5 Jordan 1 colorways of all time in my opinion. I missed this shoe on so many occasions and finally in 2016 my GF was able to grab me a pair for a great price from one of my good friends. The Shadow 1’s are simple, and can be worn with almost anything. The black and grey tones make the shoe pop in such a subtle way! It is also 1 of the OG colors to Air Jordan 1’s in the 80’s and it is one of my most prized pieces in my entire collection and also photographs really well! #cakesphotoroom
