but Anyways! my favorite au would probably have to be the spider-man au since it was the first one i really did and got invested in💓💓

and for the ml au im not the biggest fan of the canon plot rn so i have my own version for the au that doesn't really involve the love square and is a bit angstier aksksk i did a little more art awhile back that showed that but i only really like this one hopefully i can redraw stuff (and im always open to suggestions for character match ups and aus!!)

and ocs! :O!!!!!!!!!! i have the basic plot outline but actually writing is Hard so its mainly all in my head but ive been doing a lot of art lately so I'll probably post an official sketch dump soon!!

so basically they're in a post war dystopian society controlled by a repressive government called the Collective and my kids are in a resistance group skdjdj

Aslan! main character, he grew up in a family loyal to the Collective but realized it was corrupt and left to join the resistance. he's stoic and a bit cynical but he'd do anything to protect his friends. (he also has an identical twin named Theo who is loyal to the Collective)

Katrina! the leader of the resistance group, her parents were killed by the Collective when she was younger. she's Aslan's closest friend in the group

Matt! member of the resistance, leads most recruitment missions. he's a people person and good at keeping things light. he and Katrina are dating, he lowkey dies for a bit but not really

Sofia, Sam, and Cal! Sofia is really sweet and the medic of the group, she and Cal are childhood best friends who escaped the Collective together. Sam is pessimistic and sarcastic, he's tough and the best fighter in the group. Cal is super excitable and sweet, although a bit too trusting sometimes. he's dating Sam and they're the "someone will die" "of fun!" trope and balance each other out really well:)

anyways!! they live in a dystopian society controlled by a government run by elites called the Collective and my ocs are members of a resistance group!

left to right: Sam, Cal, and Aslan

Aslan is my main character, he grew up in an upper class family loyal to the Collective but then he realized they were corrupt and left and became second in command in the resistance. He's pretty cynical and not very social but he'll do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares about

Sam is chaotic tired and really sarcastic, he grew up in a nice household but his parents were suspected of being anti Collective so he was forced to flee. He's tough and good in a fight

Cal is easily excitable and energetic, he's not much of a fighter but he has a good heart. He and Sam are dating even though they're polar opposites

Katrina and Sofia

Katrina is the leader of the resistance group, she grew up in a lower class family and her parents were killed for being part of the resistance.

Sofia is the medic in the group, she's really sweet and is always looking after her friends. She and Cal are childhood best friends who joined the resistance together

Matt (and Sam again)

Matt is the main recruiter for the resistance and good at negotiating. He's an easygoing guy and likes to make other people laugh and keep things light, he and Katrina are dating

Theo

Theo is Aslan's twin brother. He was pretty naive and sheltered growing up and didn't believe Aslan when he told him the Collective was corrupt and has some severe abandonment issues because of it

Sam was the one who recruited Cal and Sofia to the resistance, he saved them from some Collective soldiers and Cal was awestruck and pretty much experienced love at first sight. Cal didn't have an combat experience or anything so Sam started sparring with him to help him train but Cal could never land a hit on him and was always reluctant to try. Anyways one day Sam got distracted by something while they were training and Cal ended up full out decking him and giving him a bloody nose. Cal freaked out but Sam was really excited and proud that Cal managed to get the upper hand on him. Later they were talking and Sam told him he was proud and Cal said that he couldn't have done it without him and he was incredible, and then Sam told Cal he was the incredible one and they kissed💓

Sam and cal are so goddamn amazing, I’ve known them both for a day but if anything happened to them I would kill everyone in this room and myself. Can you tell me anything more about the world they’re in? How does the collective work and how did it come to be? Also anymore pivotal moments in their relationship?

omgg thank you i’m so glad people like them, and yes i can!! So basically, the world that they live in is a society rebuilt after a catastrophic war that wiped out most of the population. After the war, everything was in shambles and no one knew how to recover so a small group of people, later known as the Elites, took charge and led reconstruction, and since people were desperate they readily listened to them. After time however, the Elites began to like being in power and began regulating more and more things and by the time people realized what was happening they had absolute control of pretty much all aspects of society and while they lived comfortably, people in lower sectors suffered.

Anyways my characters' timeline starts about a hundred years after the war and rebuilding so at this point the Elites have expanded into the Collective, led by the upper class families, which controls evvvvveeeerything at this point, schools, militia, you name it. The main city is spilt in to two separate sectors, Sanzira, where the uppers live, and Rivia, the lower sectors. Since the Collective controls schools they also control what is taught and make it out to seem like the Collective and life is perfect while ignoring all the issues in lower sectors. This causes majority of the kids in upper families blindly follow the Collective since they have no reason to doubt them and only see the good side of things, and since they're kept separate from Rivia they don't know how bad it is there, and by the time most of them grow up, they tend to not care so much. The lower sectors rarely rebel because the Collective has guards monitoring them.

The resistance (i haven't come up with a group name yet oops dkdjsksj) was started by a few people in the lower sectors who wanted equality and were brave enough to take a stand but since the Collective has a bigger militia and more weapons, most of their attempts have been futile. The Collective propaganda makes them out to be terrorists who just want to cause chaos and ruin everything they worked so hard to build.

And for Sam and Cal!!! Since they're not my main characters i unfortunately don't have their full story planned out at this point (though i know how Cal will die) but i can tell you some cute stuff about how they interact and things they do! Since Sam is one of the toughest people in the group and Cal isn't much of a fighter--- past knowing basic self defense--- Sam goes out on most missions with Matt, Katrina, or Aslan; and Cal stays with Sofia to defend the base. On the rare occasion that Sam and Cal have missions together, Sam is SUPER protective of Cal. Like if they hear rustling in a bush Sam will whip out all his weapons and make Cal get behind him only to have it be like, a single rabbit.

When Sam goes out on scouting missions alone he likes to bring things back for Cal, like tech he found or a cool rock or a flower that reminded him of him. Sam's not really one to be openly sappy or emotional so he just leaves the things in Cal's room for him to find later. Since they're polar opposites and Sam is a bit (okay a lot) of a pessimist, sometimes he'll be brooding and Cal will be like "okay calm down edgelord let's go for a walk by the lake."

Sam is the shortest in the group and Cal likes to use him as an armrest and he always acts annoyed but secretly likes it. Cal is also the only one who can get away with calling him Sammy:)
