theres literally a firetruck parked on the street in front of my house wth
the dancing last night was a blast (and I apologize for not getting any more pics of myself in my fit), but i must've danced so hard, because I was driving home and it felt like a race against time because my thigh muscles were literally starting to lock up. I managed fine, but that particular part of the experience is one I wouldn't reccomend outright 😭
will add a pic with makeup later when i actually put that on (it will be gold makeup ofc), but here is the outfit for new wave dancing tonight! pray for my feet LOL
was talking to my mom about my (very limited tbqh) experiences with reading classic (pre-early 20th century) lit and it reminded me of how i read Voltaire's Candide in 7th fucking grade. Anyways I had to look up the synopsis cause I only firmly remembered a couple things that happened and like. JFC. I don't know how I managed to get a semi-legible book report out of that thing, much less how my French teacher was just like "cool thanks for actually doing your work with this extremely intense book you little 14 yr old"
one of my friends over on insta posted a cassette of this album, lamenting that they didn't have the vinyl of it. Reminded me that I DID have this on vinyl, so I dug it out and I'm giving it a spin because it's one I've had since mid-2021 and just haven't put on the turntable since I bought it 😩 it's geniunely really good so far, and considering I bought it probably on impulse, it's super in my wheelhouse.

apparently one of my great uncles passed last month and my mom only found out about it today because she thought of him and went to look him up, not knowing she was going to find his obituary. just in case you wanted to know just how dogshit my extended family is and how little they care about us as people or even as family.
i think ive read just about all the trek fics for tos and tng that i can in my specific favorite tropes/pairings (and then some because that happens when you just shuffle through tags on ao3 the way i do) and now im at the stage where all i wanna do is write fic that specifically caters to these tropes that i love.
they'll never get finished much less published but a boy can fucking dream about his rarepair soulmates probable mpreg involved novel length fic ya know
