Calathea have a bad rep for being finicky, but they are very easy to care for when you listen to what it needs. 24 hours difference between these photos after a nice drink.

Calathea not looking so hot still... I’m going to have to do something with it soon as more leaves keep dying off or are curling up

Calathea Concinna Freddie - leaves are a little curled. Not sure what it needs... more humidity? More water? Hmmm

Calathea update: RIP - I can’t seem to keep a division growing after I root it in water. I’m 0 for 2 on propagating by (accidental) division so far.

This calathea leaf got pulled out accidently as I was removing some of the dead leaves. I soaked it a while and it grew roots. Now just to get it to stay alive when I pot it. Here goes nothing!

Calathea made it through the winter. Some leaves have browned since my last post from August 2013
