From Muscle Beach to Malibu

Thursday, June 23, I made the two flights to Los Angeles to stay with two friends/ apartment mates from Prague! I spent Thursday and Friday night w/ Lindsay in Calabasas then headed to Costa Mesa to spend the rest of my time with Meagan.

I got in late, so the adventures began Friday morning. 

What was the agenda?

The day started with a tour of Calabasas. A really cute city that is almost freakishly well-matched/coordinated. As Lindsay would put it, it's the bubble in Los Angeles. With the Kardashians living there and all, we had to make a pit stop at Dash. 

Make a visit to Venice Beach. Best explained...

We then headed to Santa Monica where we walked the shops on Third Street Promenade and had lunch at Barney's Beanery. (I highly suggest it if you ever see one in the area! The menu had pretty much anything you could imagine, and this particular location had seating outside that was great for people watching...)

From there, we hopped on the Pacific Coast Highway or PCH as everyone really calls it and rode along the water down to Malibu. We walked the stores and stopped at The Coffee Bean for a pick me up before driving back through the canyon to Calabasas.

And was the day over? Of course not!! Friday night was our night on the town...
