hi! i was bored in math class, so i figured out how to type on a TI-84 Plus calculator! i’ve also made a tutorial on how to do it, so please enjoy if you’d like to read it!

first off, i’m not sure what other calculator allows you to write words on it, but for this one i used a TI-84 Plus. here is what it looks like:

now, as far as the writing goes, depending on what you want to type, the letters/ symbols are there for you.

here are (some) of the tools shown, and what they do.

this is enter, or the solve button. depending on what you want to say, it may create an error message to appear. an example is shown below.

you can use this to create an aesthetic, use it for a photograph, or simply just for fun. once you have all of the buttons down, there are almost endless results in which you can say or convey a message to.

but, please, don’t do this during a test and distract someone. it may cost you a failing grade/ referral. also, it’s not very polite. in fact, it’s quite rude to disrupt a persons focus.
