Pull Your Weeds and Enjoy
My husband and I are by no means experts on marriage. I mean we’ve only been married for 2 ½ years. Our goal is to help people realize that everything doesn’t have to be so serious. We’re best friends, and though we are also spouses, we have fun. Every day we laugh about something. Sometimes, we even laugh at our problems. We understand that we are in this for the long haul, and we want to have as much fun as possible on this journey.
When there’s an issue, we address it, and sometimes it’s not very pretty. We argue and get upset, but when we get back to loving, it’s even more beautiful. In order for a gardener to have a beautiful garden, she must get in the dirt, on her knees, and pull up those weeds. She may break a sweat; her back may even ache afterwards, but when she’s all done, she can stand back, enjoy the view, and be proud of what she has accomplished.
Our music is fun. Most people think of slow, mid tempo, smooth songs, when they hear the words “Neo Soul”. Though we consider ourselves to be a Neo-Soul group, we don’t fall into the typical lineup. We love upbeat, fun music with bright lyrics. All of our songs are written to empower, uplift, and encourage. You know that motivated feeling you get right after seeing a superhero movie for the first time? That’s the business that we’re in.
