A ship I have with said character: You gotta be a little sillay with caleb ships for me, I like him with Zee cause he’d destress the guy a little and also Scary Girl because she’d stress him out even more. Aaand if season 2 wanted him in a romance arc I would’ve rather it be with Emma after their little moment in episode 1. She deserves the peer described Perfect Man after having Chase for a boyfriend.

A BROTP I have with said character: I like pairing him with guys like MK and Axel because they hate his ass. Which is a kinda mean answer for a brotp but I think it’d do him some good to hang around people who don’t think he’s All That y’know?

A NOTP I have with said character: Priyaleb was deep faked

A random headcanon: He really wanted to join a book club when he was younger but his parents didn’t let him lol

General Opinion over said character: I don’t dislike Caleb himself but his romance plotline with Priya was… not good. I don’t wanna get too into it but over the course of the season it kept changing what the appeal of the dynamic was actually supposed to be and ultimately made it appeal to no one once they were trapped in relationship hell for the end of their run. Which all wouldn’t be as bad if the whole season didn’t revolve around it and didn’t sacrifice every other character’s screen time for it. It’s like if the Prillie plotline sucked. Toxic het couple Priya and Caleb was kinda funny but pretty unflattering to Priya so I didn’t like it that much. Basically any other pair of characters would’ve done this better. It sucks it’s makes them so unappealing this season and barley lets them interact with anyone else because Priya was such a great character in S1 and Caleb still has so many qualities that still make me like him! He started serving pathetic fail boy when they shifted him to being more comedic at the end. He volunteers at the animal shelter. His parents are clearly too controlling over what he does and made him base his identify on being successful and likable and struggles to believe people not liking him based off his obvious talents to the point of obsessing about being booted first and trying so painfully hard to correct that. Then when he does get to the finale not only does he fail to win at the very last second he doesn’t even have any friends including his girlfriend. Caleb could’ve been a genuinely good character if they didn’t lock him into this one note role where he doesn’t get to have relationships beyond one person. He’s like the reboot’s only B tier character

General Opinion over said character: Duuude he’s still the season 2 winner in my heart getting rid of him like that was so dirty. Damien is such a great character. He’s not the cast’s straight man because he’s boring or because he thinks he’s better than everyone else, but because he never watched this torture show and is the only one having sane reactions to the deadly threats Chris keeps throwing at them. And he’s not just a gimmick! He’s a genuinely kind and charismatic person who’s very intelligent and helps his team in challenges even while wanting to leave. After that when he does want to try in season 2, he doesn’t just stop being scared, instead he learned different ways to manage his fears and I think that’s such a great example for kids watching. Shoving him down that death trap was mean but admittedly funny sorry Dami lol. But Millie making amends with him was genuinely one of my favorite plotlines of S2 Damillie was the cutest shit this show has ever done. I love you Damien Total Drama you’re a consistent delight.
