Dr. Saltzman just finished introducing Hope to the newest member of the student body. He asked her to show him around and, despite nearly rolling her eyes into the back of her head, Hope agreed. Waiting out in the hall for Caleb, she crossed her arms in front of her chest. “So, ready for the obligatory basic school tour?” She remained untrustworthy of new people and found it hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. There was still so much she didn’t know about Caleb and he didn’t give her the impression that he was an open book.
