Setting the bottle he just finished off on a trash can, Chase took a few steps back from it, lifting a piece of pipe he had found while just doing his usual meandering about as if he were some sort of ghost in Ipswich since his been 'banished' and somehow escape from the portal of fire...or hell, he was cast into. The teenager swung the pipe, shattering it to pieces. All Caleb had to do was give him his Power. That was it. It would have been so easy. But seeing these four guys living a life so... harmoniously together. While he was given nothing but hardship.
Confusion on whom, or even what, he was. All because of an incident that did not involve him. They served as nothing more but a reminder of what their families had done to him. To his father. To anyone else who had to suffer the same fate because of one. Twirling the pipe in his hand, he knew they weren't sorry for it. From the moment he met them. None of them knew, even, he would come to find out. That just made him angrier. But it served as no excuse "I could have been a great leader...I could have-" Moving the pipe over, he pointed it toward Caleb "Done so much better than you. And all you had to do was apologize. But, instead...I have to resort to stealing." Chase pulled his free hand, the burned one. Wisps of something magical swirling around it " All you had to do, was fucking listen to me!" A smirk playfully formed on his burn-scared face.
"So thank you for reminding me of what I really am. Always your enemy. That's all my family is to any of you. So why shouldn't I be?" A ball of fire suddenly struck up, before he was pulling his arm back and throwing it like a baseball at Caleb "We don't have to be what our ancestors told us we were, we can be better, more powerful!" To Chase, the others had forced him to this point. Not just the four themselves, but their families, too. Dropping his right hand down, he swirled it, the earth beneath it swirling along with his motion. To no one in particular, Chase continued "I'll stop this curse, by myself. Don't worry, Golden Boy. I know it's hard to realize you're the villain. Trust me..."
