Chapter five, part five
With a grandmother she also went to her greatgrandparents. They lived in a big house in the city. It was an old storage facility which they renovated and made their home. They brought groceries for them, cleaned and drank tea with them.
Her grandgrandmother was very happy to see her greatgrandchild. She had seventeen but had never seen one of them. Her greatgrandmother also knew she was expecting a baby, which would make her great-greatgrandchild. When the baby would be born there were five generations living at once. Hopefully her grandmother or grandfather wouldn't pass away before that day.
Chatting with her greatgrandparents was always fun. They were very interested in her. They asked her lots of questions. But they both had also a lot of stories to tell. About both her grandmother as her own mother. Deborah had to smile every time her greatgrandmother started to talk about the time that her grandmother was a child.
