FOURTH CLUE

Excerpt from the Beacon Hills Ledger, November 18th, 2013 A shocking turn of events happened today regarding the ongoing murder investigation and kidnapping of Caleb Martin, Jennifer Blake, and Lisa Hannigan. Caleb Martin was discovered today in the Beacon Hills Reserve by a couple of passerby hikers. When he came to, he seemed to have no recollection of anything that had happened since Founder's Day. The location of the other hostages is still unknown and the discovery of Caleb Martin's whereabouts have focused investigatory efforts in and around the Beacon Hills Preserve and the old Hale House where the murder of Kate Argent occurred just last year. Residents are asked to keep a safe distance from the preserve while investigations are ongoing. The police hope to recover Lisa Hannigan and Jennifer Blake soon. Hint; Why would the Darach let Caleb go?

Keeping a dog in a hotel room was very difficult. The little monster was messy and coupled with his younger cousin Lena he was an absolute nightmare to take care of. Jackson had bought the dog on a whim on his way home from school, and now he was going to present it as a peace offering to Lydia. He wondered how she would take the news about her elder brother Caleb now knowing about werewolves. Would she hate him even more than she already did? Would she be glad he had broken the news to Caleb instead of her having the task of doing it himself? These were the many questions that rushed through his head as he looked at the ugly little dog next to him. “Don’t look at me like that Aiden, you know I can’t keep you. And Lydia will take good care of you promise” Jackson consoled the dog who laid his head down on the black leather seat. “Don’t pee on the leather seat or I’ll turn you into a purse and then give it to her” he barked before he pulled into the Martin’s driveway and bounded up to the house. As soon as Caleb opened the door, “here’s the dog, I don’t know where to keep him so I have to carry him around with me, but I figured I’d come over so we can both get our stories straight for when we talk to Lydia”

Jackson: So uh have you told Lydia you know yet? Because I bought something that might cushion the blow.

Jackson: You and Lydia are now the proud owners of an ugly sad little pug named Aiden.

Jackson had never been particularly fond of Lydia's brother, Caleb. Even as kids the two had disliked each other, and now that they were older that dislike had only deepened. However, Caleb was also Jackson's greatest ally when it came to Lydia's safety. He still didn't trust the twins, their mere involvement with the alpha pack left him uneasy. Which was why he had told Caleb a part of the truth and was surprised by the older boy's lack of questions. Almost as though...he knew of the truth. 

Whatever the case, however Caleb had real influence in Lydia's life and although he was almost sure that the red headed girl wouldn't listen to him she would listen to Caleb. The fact that she hadn't called, and it was getting late worried him slightly and he wasn't allowed to let Caleb prowl around in the dark on his own. After all he didn't dislike him that much. His car pulled up at the Martin's place a few moments after he departed from his own. Although his car privileges were severely limited he was finally allowed to take the Porsche out on his own now. He pulled out to the picturesque home and opened the passenger door seeing Caleb standing near the driveway. "Get in" he said curtly.
