SWAP HATTER + JOKER 👍 this one is kind of difficult to explain because both the hatter and the joker are otherworldly beings that are not permanently tied to the physical bodies that they inhabit, so in the swap-universe the entity that is the hatter is using jay doe as a vessel (who is the joker’s “body” in the main canon). just like normal hatter, in the swap the joker is inhabiting a body made of inanimate materials like sticks and plastic. unlike hatter, swap joker is well aware that it is not a human being and is at relative piece with this. also bonus calendar queen and batman expressions!

LOVE Calender Queen's looks!! Got any tasty lore/thoughts for her desgin/character and backstory to share?

Her calendar queen/serial killer outfit is based off of paige monroe and the classic calendar-man designs. Her pop star appearance is kind of just like if you put britney spears and hatsune miku in a blender. Her backstory is pretty straightforward, also very paige monroe - she's a breakout hit pop idol/influencer who is mistreated by her managers and supervisors until she has a public breakdown, for which she is promptly ridiculed by her fans because Well she's sooooo rich and privileged and pretty she needs to stop complaining, some people out there have actual problems :/// so she gets caught in a cycle of jumping through insane hoops to apologize for her behavior before she finally snaps and just starts murdering people. it's definitely a targeted murder spree and she probably goes for her managers first. she persists with it for a while but eventually has a second (worse) breakdown upon realizing that no matter what she does the public attention on her will only get worse and more focused. eventually the penguin finds her (having caught his attention from her publicized murders) and he offers to foot the bill of some plastic surgery to make her less recognizable for the price of coming to work for him as an anonymous hitman, because she is actually very fucking good at the murder thing. she begrudgingly accepts (happy to be out of the limelight, but wary of having her life be controlled by someone else) but she eventually becomes very happy in the position and learns to let herself do what she wants out of the eye of public opinion. she also ditches the wigs (her natural hair is brown and kind of wavy) and gains some healthy weight on purpose to make herself look different and overall has a much better time.
