I think Caleb is a bit like Eurydice, but he's the one who looked back. He wanted Philip to be in his life, even though Philip refused to compromise. I think Caleb takes responsibility for Philip's actions (or Philip manipulates him into doing that), but if Caleb was really there at the end of the Owl House, I think it would be way too late for Caleb to feel responsible for or sad for Philip. I think Caleb just would want Luz and Hunter, and the Clawthornes and their friends to be okay.
