cali≠gari is so obscenely underappreciated in the US even amongst freak-ass artsy queer vkei appreciators that just getting to examine a physical copy of Dai 6 Jikkenshitsu (some kind of deluxe edition, i think?) in person feels like a huuuuge deal worthy of publicly fanboying about on here
went to sell some old manga & fandom merch to the local secondhand nerd collectibles shop yesterday and they had it sitting in the “rare finds” case !! couldn’t believe my eyes. since the shopkeepers needed some time to assess the value of what i brought in anyway, they were very accommodating about letting me paw through the photo cards bundled in with the album ⭐️ i took pics of my favorites, so i’ll see if i can get some of the shots edited down neatly enough to post
which, again, since the fandom is so small [at least on english-language internet] i’m like unreasonably stoked just to get to share some of these even though the image quality will be mediocre. maybe someone has already scanned & uploaded the photo cards by now but i’d personally never seen em before

I knew when i first started thinking about making this rotation, i knew i was gonna put cali gari in there, i just wasnt sure which cause i wasnt actually that familiar with them. This one had been playing for a bit and i new it was gonna be it.
Hakkyou CHANNEL can be found on the 第4実験室 (dai 4 jikkenshitsu) album, released in 1998.
