Guerrillas and Badgebuns
⚔️ For @calibratedafflatus 's Dani! ⚔️
Deliveries to Yara were among some of the most difficult for Piper to make. Often times it required her to bring her boat within just a kilometer of the blockade and have some divers take their cargo under the armed ships and all the way to the remote shorelines of the island for delivery. But not this time. Enough money and connections had finally bought her just what she was looking for: a (forged) copy of the Yaran government documents of declared commerce - complete with even a seal of approval and the signature of Anton Castillo. It cost her a small fortune to get her palms on, but the income she made off of selling the parts to the Libertad more than made up for it.
Pulling up at one of the makeshift docks at the more remote end of the island, Piper hopped down from the loading plank as soon as her anchor touched sand. Behind her, a line of privateers filed out one by one, hauling crate after crate of disassembled weapon parts, food, water, and other goodies Clara had requested and Piper was more than happy to provide. She always loved taking on the jobs no one else would.
And she loved herself a good old fashioned revolution.
Now all that was left to do was wait for someone to come crawling out of the treeline to sign for the materials. Hopping up on one of the larger crates to sit down, she watched the distant jungle just past the beach. After a moment, she called out. "Come out, come out wherever you are! Santa bought some goodies for your revolution!"
