Interesting.
Feel free to ignore me if this has been answered before, but im honestly just very curious as to what font you use in your comics. It's a very readable font. Also hi I like your art, it very cool :3
thanks!! i mainly use corbel, its a pretty common and well-known font that I more so picked on a whim one day. apparently, corbel is a font that is best used for smaller amounts of text (like for comics, lucky goomy) rather than long paragraphs & body copy, since its lack of lineweight variation (and small quirks such as the lowercase 'u' having no tail) makes it marginally more taxing to read a lot of compared to like, a serif font or something very carefully designed like helvetica. that being said, it's not terrible to use for large amounts of texts (it is a fairly readable sans serif with nothing crazy going on) just not like the absolute best option. just thought that was interesting since it didn't really occur to me at first. Most of everything i just said probably means nothing to most people but im one of those people that had to study typefaces in university
CAN YOU DRAW CALIBRI PLEASEE?? I haven't seen this silly weed smoker in ages
The one and only! :3
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has issued an order for diplomats to stop using a word processing typeface he considers too woke, and go back
Matthew Chapman at Raw Story:
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has issued an order for diplomats to stop using a word processing typeface he considers too woke, and go back to using Times New Roman, Reuters reported on Tuesday. Rubio's order reverses a 2023 directive from Antony Blinken, then-President Joe Biden's Secretary of State, which "had switched to Calibri, a modern sans-serif font, saying this was a more accessible font for people with disabilities because it did not have the decorative angular features and was the default in Microsoft products." A Dec. 9 cable proclaims, "To restore decorum and professionalism to the Department’s written work products and abolish yet another wasteful DEIA program, the Department is returning to Times New Roman as its standard typeface," arguing that serif fonts are a better fit for official work. It's yet another front in Trump's efforts to dismantle so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs that seek to improve participation by discriminated groups in public and professional life.
Dear Marco Rubio and the State Department: How in the hell is the Calibri font “DEIA?” Rubio orders the reversion back to Times New Roman, an abomination of a font. (Arial is superior, or even Verdana).
This is more petty nonsense from the Trump Regime.

You're busted
Lucas de Groot’s Calibri Bold was not meant to be condensed electronically like this. It could have been better on two lines at their natural widths, which would have had more impact, or a proper condensed typeface could have been chosen, to avoid the horizontals being thicker than the verticals.
