Day 2
I am sitting here while my homemade, unevenly sliced, and weirdly spiced potato chips bake in the oven. I need snacks.
I don’t normally eat a lot. My schedule doesn’t give me a nice enough routine. I’m up by 2:30 am and I have to be out of the house by 3:20 am to make it to my 4am shift. So normally I don’t eat breakfast. I have two breaks and a lunch. Often times I’ll snack at one of those breaks and my lunch is tiny compared to others which fit my stomach well.
But now without those added sugars and carbs my stomach needs just a bit more to feel full. Not all in one sitting cause it couldn’t be easy like that. More like snacking through the day. Which is where my homemade potato chips come in.
I’m not even sure if they will taste good. But I’m exhausted from just existing today and my bedtime is soon. So we are going to pray to the food gods and hope that this could be a possible snack for yours truly at work tomorrow.
