I'm confused why Americas government is taking the brunt of the blame, it's up to the state to regulate the police force right?

It IS up to the state to regulate the police force, and each state has its own government regulating it. Congress regulates countrywide, and all 50 states have their own little governor, mayors, and people in seats of power who have a say in what their police do.

So Ferguson’s government is fucking up BIG TIME making it a policed state and militarizing their police and America’s government as a whole is doing nothing to stop them.

So thats why its taking the brunt of the blame.
