Not canon, but Cresselia and Phobius don't have a very good rapport with eachother. Hard to get along with someone when they probably would've sided with your murderers thousands of years ago.

“lol you wanted to work?”
Odyssea accepts nothing but 100% of your attention and if that means she has to lay completely over a lovely warm tablet to get it, then so be it!
(I’m sooo close to finishing this last page, which means I can start posting this test comic really soon and I’m very excited about that!)
Because I love the background characters in Tyranny too much, here’s my interpretation of Layla, Nunoval’s lover in the short story “Carved of Shadow, Crept from Darkness” by Megan Starks (and also some extra rough sketches).
For this, I used a handful of descriptive sentences from the short story for reference, namely:
“[...] tough as bronze,” “[...] abs bunching beneath, taut, bronzed skin,”
“[...] eyes half-focused and bluer than the northern sky.”
“[...] her hair spilled around her like a golden crown.”
...keep in mind, Nunoval is the point-of-view character and he is clearly biased in his descriptions of her, so who knows I might be way off mark here with my ripped and statuesque babe imagining. ;D
I also got the impression she was a Fatebinder or at least directly affiliated with the Court, so I made sure to include Tunon’s sigil and elements from the Fatebinder armour in the outfit.
Lore Drop... 2!!!
Many thousands of years ago, Phobius was not born, in the traditional sense. He manifested in the Dream World, before gaining enough strength to manifest in the physical world, in a place that would one day be named New Moon Woods.
When he popped into existence, he was largely left alone. As a being of fear, pokemon avoided him like the plague. This was fine, for the freshly minted legendary. He didn't know how to be lonely.
He lived like that for about 20 years.. then one day, a pokemon wandered through his neck of the woods. A Mienshao.
Mienshao was on the older side, too old to be chasing after prey anymore. He'd come to the woods in search of berries, not knowing why everyone avoided the woods as they did.
That's when he bumped into Phobius. A feeling of fear crept up on him, but he didn't flee. Mienshao just smiled, and offered Phobius a berry. In his experience, it tended to make other pokemon less hostile.
Phobius just blinked at him. He'd never eaten before.
Mienshao asked Phobius about himself and where he lives. He mostly responded with "I don't know."
He didn't have a name, he didn't have a home beyond "here" and he didn't seem to know how to feed himself. It struck Mienshao as odd. The Darkrai was as clueless as a newborn kit.
He invited him back to his home, which Phobius had no reason to refuse.
Mienshao's home was a burrow underneath a tree. He offered to let Phobius stay there as it turned to night, but the Darkrai grew agitated. He didn't like it when he couldn't see the moon.
Mienshao set about making a nest for him in the branches of his tree, just so he could look at the sky.
After that first night, Mienshao continued living with Phobius. Teaching him about life as if he were his own son.
