Hiccup and Jack are playing hide and seek and Hiccup's hiding, but he falls into a deep but small hole or sink hole and falls unconscious? And Jack keeps looking for him and it gets dark and he tries Hiccup's phone before he calls the cops and hears Hiccup's phone ringing that time? And Hiccup wakes up to him calling him - something like that?
Hi Phage, I’m sorry this took so so so long! This was a tricky prompt, I couldn’t think of a good reason for why these two dorks would be playing hide and seek, so this is a continuation of this because it seemed fitting at the moment, I hope it’s okay and you like it!
(This is crap and I'm so fucking sorryyyyyyyyyy)

If somebody had told Hiccup two months ago he would be wasting his summer’s holidays being a camp counselor he would have probably choked on his spit. However, here he is, willingly being tackled to the ground by an undetermined number of little girls and not-so-willingly laughing hysterically due to the abusive tickling to his sides.
When he’s about to suffocate and his ribs and stomach start to actually hurt a mop of white hair appears in his range of vision, effectively blocking the sun from his eyes, and Jack looks almost concerned at him. “Okay kiddos, let Hiccup breathe!”, he orders playfully, and the culprits of his near death let go of their grasps on him reluctantly. High pitched whines surround them, but over the sound the brunet can distinguish one of Jack’s sincere hearty laughs. “How do you manage to keep being attacked by these little monsters?”
Hiccup takes the pale offered hand and pulls himself to his feet, shrugging the comment off as he does the proper with the bits of grass and dust in his clothes. He flashes a crooked smile, cheeks aflame from the effort. “I have a strong tendency to attract possible threats”, he jokes, and the blue eyed boy scoffs mockingly at him, snowy locks moving in synch with a shaking head.
"It must be because of your charm", he confides, and then claps his hands loudly before Hiccup can say anything to deny his inaccurate reasoning. "Okay kiddos! Let’s do something fun before dinner time! Who wanna play hide and seek!?"
Hiccup flinches at the sudden bubble of loud shrieks and boisterous giggles that emanates from the group of kids in front of him, an amused smile dancing on his lips as Jack winks at him from his position a few feet away.
Being a camp counselor was relatively easy. Or, more accurately, Jack made it seem easy: the older teen had some kind of odd connection with children, one that Hiccup couldn’t really understand but that left him mesmerized in its ways. It showed in the way the kids listened intently at him, or in how he was capable of making babbled cries die in infant’s throats with a little trick or a whisper of comforting words. Far from what Hiccup had thought during their first days of meeting each other, Jack wasn’t just some kind of Peter Pan, convincing lost children of participating in his never-ending-fun, but a very mature young man who could be very responsible when the time called. And Hiccup liked it.
The brunet snaps out of his thoughts when another fit of piercing giggles breaks through the afternoon summer’s air, and he slowly understands that their little game has already started when he hears Jack counting down against a tree, and little hands pry at his jeans to lead him to the woods behind their cabins.
“C’mon Hiccup! Jack will get us!” At the addressing by a squeaking voice he looks down to encounter a very happy Jamie Bennet, a glint of competitiveness almost palpable in his words, as well as an equally joyful Sophie smiling timidly through blonde bangs. They are the two younger members of their group, but smart enough to stick around an adult during the activities. The freckled teen fights off a smile. “We need to hide!”
Their enthusiasm is contagious, and Hiccup kneels to the ground to tell them their strategy, the kids leaning with excited expressions in their chubby cheeks. “We need to hurry up! Let’s go to the lake hut!”
The siblings are running in the commanded direction before Hiccup can even stand, and he follows in their tracks with a sense of trepidation overcoming him, cursing his stupid leg when he can’t barely locate their heads in the brushwood anymore. “Not so fast, children! Come back here!”
"We’re gonna lose!" Jamie keeps jumping roots and crouching to avoid low branches, his sister giggling behind him at a more reasonable path, and panic finally floods freely in Hiccup’s veins when the teen realizes where they are heading.
"Stop right now! Jamie!” His cry startles the older sibling, who spares the hole at his feet by mere centimeters. The rest happens too fast.
Hiccup runs to take Sophie in his arms, the tiny girl completely oblivious of the danger. His prosthetic gets trapped in a root and he falls face-forward into the hole, pushing her out of the way.
Jamie lifts his weeping sister up and hugs her. He calls for Hiccup from above, but the teen doesn’t answer back. Jamie starts crying, too.

It’s getting darker and Jack’s worry increases at a vertiginous speed as seconds go by. At this point the children are waiting in their cabins, accompanied by some counselors, while most of them are searching alongside him for Hiccup and the kids.
The adult’s calls and cries disturb the wood’s quietness as they inspect every little creak and path they can think off, and a heavy heart settles in Jack’s chest when they don’t get a response. He tries his phone again, but Hiccup still isn’t picking it, and fear claws at his insiders painfully. He lights up his flashlight and shouts once more, his throat raw after repeating the action several times. He can’t yet understand what could have happened for the three of them to disappear that way, but a cold sweat glides down his nape as his mind plays the worst possible scenarios in his head over and over again.
He tries his phone once more, and when he hears a weak ringing sound behind him he turns and moves in that direction, hoping his concern isn’t playing dirty tricks on him. The white-haired teen puts some low branches aside and finally sees the Bennet siblings, and he exhales a relieved and trembling breath. “Jack!”
"Are you okay kiddos?" Said boy shortens the distance between them and hugs the children in his arms before giving them a look-over in search for any injuries. The fact that the freckled teen isn’t with them despite having heard his phone drops to the pit of his stomach uncomfortably, but he tries to keep his voice steady and calm to not scare the children. "Why didn’t you come back to the camp? The game finished hours ago! Where’s Hiccup?"
Jamie flinches at the scolding tone, and Sophie starts to sniff louder, but the counselor hugs her once more and pets her blonde hair in a comforting gesture. “We didn’t wanted you to get mad at us”, Jamie starts, lip quivering as he hold his tears, looking to the ground next to them “it’s our fault, we were running to hide and Hiccup fell in the hole and he doesn’t wake up!”
“Hiccup?” The whisper caughts in his throat. Jack points his flashlight in Jamie’s gaze direction and horror washes over him as he makes out Hiccup’s silhouette laying against the ground, a scarlet stain in one of the sides of his head. “Hiccup! Hiccup! Can you hear me!? Hiccup!”
The younger teen still doesn’t shows any signs of life, and Jack makes a quick call to Bunny to explain the situation and ask for an ambulance. Then he hands Jamie the flashlight, darkness engulfing them by now, and looks at the boy intently in the eyes. “Jamie, I need you to point the flashlight to the hole, okay? It’s very important, can you do that?”
The boy nods his head surely and Jack doesn’t need more encouragement before coming closer to the hole. It’s pretty narrow and deep, but he climbs into it carefully of not stepping on the other teen, sitting in the muddy ground and taking him to rest against his lap wary of not moving his neck. Jack putts bloody locks of auburn hair aside and caresses freckled cheeks, and he wants to cry in relief when he notices them warm against his dirty palms, checking for his pulse and breathing a moment after.
"Hiccup? Can you hear me? We have been very worried about you. Can you open your eyes? C’mon, open those beautiful eyes of yours", he tries much softer this time, pale hands roaming over scratched freckled skin. "C’mon Hiccup, do it for me, open your eyes just a little", his calm voice breaks the tiniest bit, a traitorous sob ripping through his sore throat, "I know you can do it, c’mon Hiccup-"
“Jack?" The younger teen scrunches his nose slightly and groans in pain. His leg, ribs and head hurt a lot, and he needs a moment to actually open his eyes and take in his surroundings. "Are you crying?"
"I just got something in my eye", he shakes his head with a trembling smile plastered on his mouth, heavy tears falling on Hiccup’s warm neck as he cries into it and holds him closer. Then he presses salty lips over the other teen’s chapped ones, and he could blame it on his worry or some silly excuse, but Hiccup presses back, and it tastes like a silent promise. "You weren’t joking about the danger magnet earlier", he croaks amusedly.
"It must be my charm." Hiccup snorts, and the action sends a wincing pain up his skull.
Jack nuzzles his cheek quietly, boundaries be dammed. “It’s okay. You’re okay.”
Hiccup smiles tiredly, and it’s true. They are going to be fine.
