A Poll/Chapter 6 Progress Report, 4/9
About 3200 words now. I hit a point in the chapter that could work as a very good stopping point for chapter 6. It feels good. I would be happy with it. It’s about on par length-wise with chapter 1.
So I come asking for input.
Would you guys prefer:
A short chapter 6 and a short chapter 7, each setting up a lot of the plot stuff (which is a LOT to digest tbh) while leaving chapter 8 to take on what I’d originally planned for chapter 7 (aka THE FLUFF CHAPTER)?
A short chapter 6 and a full-length chapter 7, potentially pushing some of the relationship stuff (but not all) to chapter 8?
Full length chapters 6 and 7, with a planned post of chapter 6 for sometime by 4/25.
Personally, I’m fine any way. I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself to hit the 5k point for chapter length, but I realize that readers may or may not care as much so I’d like to hear your thoughts.
