He wears a wooden mask (because he thinks it makes him look cool and mysterious) and he uses his magic to change it's expression. Is he aware that this is a waste of magic? yes is he ever going to stop? no what do you take him for a sensible person.

Her/their/it's voice washes over you as rough as silk and it has a reverb as if someone had plucked a string and allowed it to vibrate to and fro
