Finished The Will of the Many by James Islington a few days ago
AND OMG? It was so good?
Plot, world building and characters are absolutely phenomenal. The sci-fi fantasy -ish Roman Republic inspired government corruption vibe just resonates with me lol.
Vis is such a great protagonist, what a pathological liar.
For those who haven’t read it, 10/10 recommend if you like sci-fi, fantasy, or Roman history in an academic setting with lots of lore, high stakes and revenge.
Anyway major spoilers ahead but I made fanart of THAT ONE SCENE AT THE END (cough cough) that ripped my heart out, shattered it and stepped on the pieces. It’s a WIP but hopefully I will colour and finish one day…🫠 (and add more blood, this piece needs more blood lol)
