The childish urge to mutter 'that's what she said' is squashed, just as quickly as its head rears. This isn't the time for such things. Not when she's fighting to keep-up the 'happy mask' while the skin of her rear radiates with a burning fury. It's only when Finch mentions 'things' that cracks finally begin to show. Face falling to something blank, fingers tug the hem of her kimono jacket to check behind.

River, or rather 'Jenn', sighs.

"...A minor cactus-related incident, dear. Don't pay any heeeed...!" Her voice is a sugar-coated sing-song struggling not to sound strained, "Looks like I just missed a couple spines."
