Does Suzuya find himself mentally deasised?
((Okay, I’m going to answer this one OOC because I want to address something. But first I want to say something to everyone who follows this blog: Do not send hate to this person, do not make them feel badly, do not bully them. This is likely a language barrier issue and I do not want this person to feel unwelcome or attacked.
The thing is that it’s very, very rude in English to call someone ‘mentally diseased’. The proper term is ‘mentally ill’ or ‘mentally disordered’. It’s usually better not to call anyone ‘diseased’ because it implies a state of bad hygiene, stigma and danger of being around a ‘diseased’ person.
This is a close issue to me, I struggle with mental illnesses, all diagnosed and currently active. So I just want to say that wording this differently might be helpful and that people with mental illnesses don’t usually feel ‘ill’. They may feel as if something is wrong with them or that they are different from others, but I’ve seldom heard a person describe the feeling of being aware of being mentally ill. Everyone feels that what they do or feel is rational somehow.
So I’m passing on this ask to try to educate and direct this to a better place. That said, you are welcome to send in any other asks you have and I will gladly answer them when I’m in cosplay again!))
