honestly i love just sitting at my altar and cleansing my crystals individually in incense smoke, watching the smoke surround it and then come off it, and sometimes the smoke coming off of the crystals looks almost imperceptibly darker, like the negative and unwanted energies it’s taking from them can be seen in it. even if it’s just my imagination or bad vision, i like to think that’s what’s happening.
another thing i love to do with crystals is charging them individually too, with my own energy when i have some to spare. taking each one in my hand, letting my energy flow into it, and when it’s done charging, giving it a kiss and then setting it back into its place in the box.
both activities just let you build a positive, personal relationship with each of your crystals rather than cleansing and charging them all at once under the moon all the time (which i still do very often, but sometimes you just want to cleanse and charge them yourself).
i don’t know. maybe i just really love my crystals lmao
