Maya sighed and shut her laptop, logging off any form of social media for the time being. She realized that if she wanted to be with Campbell, she had to break up with Miles. But since he was too busy trying to ruin his dad's campaign to answer her phone calls, she decided that she'd just tell Cam that they broke up, hoping to see Miles before she saw them together. She went upstairs for a few minutes and fixed her hair before walking downstairs and waiting for him to show up.
Am I really going to do this? She asked herself, knowing Cam might think she was lying if she told him that. But after everything that happened between them, sh e was hoping he'd believe her. She sighed and looked at her phone for a few minutes before deciding it was probably a good idea to turn it off, just in case Miles decided to call.
