Yeah all schools except like 1 or 2 have uniforms over here but when you get to year 13 (grade 12 I think?) you can wear whatever you want, which is really annoying because the uniforms are absolutely hideous. Yeah there are quite a few private schools over here and most of them have some sort of religious background but they are usually "rich kid schools." I've always been jealous of Americans/Canadians because you guys get to wear whatever you want but knowing me that would not be a good idea.

LOL, I’ve always took that for granted when I was in highschool because I didn’t know it was different in other countries. At least you saved time getting dressed right? I’m watching Parks and Recreation right now when Ben and Leslie first meet and it’s so cute how much they dislike each other.

Sometimes I find it really funny how little Americans know about Canada like when New York state legalized gay marriage all these Americans were on Twitter threatening to move to Canada and then when Obamacare started the same thing happened. Like gay marriage has been legal in Canada since 2005 and we’ve had universal health care since 1984. But everything they do seems to affect us.

Anyway do you think the Calum-smoking situation if it was clear he was smoking a joint? I ask that because marijuana-use is pretty prevalent in Vancouver and in the past year I’ve noticed so many dispensaries popping up in the city plus it’s pretty hard to not come people posting pictures of them smoking it on tumblr.
