Chinese American Oral History Project Reception On Wednesday, May 31th the University Library hosted a Reception for the Chinese American Oral History Project. Approximately 400 people attended the event, including the first four interviewees for the project, Margaret "Margie" Lew, John Chen, Pauline Tso, and Frank Yan. All interviews were conducted by the students in Dr. Julie Phun's Asian/Asian American Studies 3520 class in Fall 2016 and Spring 2017. Additional work to make the oral histories available to the public was done by the University Library Special Collections and Archives spearheaded by the Digitization Projects Assistant Jamie Zeffrey.
