Yohualtecuhtin of the Cihuatlampa

Chalchiuhtlicue and Tlazolteotl as the Yohualtecuhtin ("Rulers of the Night") associated with the Cihuatlampa ("towards the place of women"), the western direction of the universe.

I also made an alternate version with outfits from the codex that inspired this illustration.

It's no secret that Chalchiuhtlicue and Tlazolteotl are my favorite deities, so when I realized they appear as a duo in a codex (the only such case I know of) I had to draw it.

I can't find four Tezcatlipocas from the precolonial and colonial records, Ometeotl is the god with no ritual, no religious sacrifice, no festival under thier name, and of course Aztec empire, is triple alliance or just Mexica empire.

Disclaimer to the four Tezcatlipocas, according to precolonial and colonial codice, such concepts do not exist, but for morden Nahuan, the blue Tezcatlipoca is Tlaloc/Taluk from El Salvador, for Guerrero, the colour blue is green.

The white colour is green for Izalco, El Salvador.

the concept has over one hundred years to Nahuas.

so in my opinion, the version with Tlaloc is the accurate one.

Concepts like Ometeotl do not exist in El Salvador, and gods like huitzilopochtli and coyolxauhqui, aren't there.

The central figure for Morden Nahua four directions, is Xiuhtecuhtli/Xiwtekujti, his name is also just god(Teotl/Tiut).

For Latin American's belief of nahua people's gods, you can kind assume four Tezcatlipocas with huitzilopochtli is not wrong, but that's morden belief.
