Valdís swaggers into the room as if she owned the place, altogether ignoring (or at least, pretending to ignore) the glaring threat that Calypso’s very existence presented to her person. Rather than show any sort of intimidation, she approaches the table the silver elvhen is sitting at, and sprawls into an open chair, her elbow resting on the table as her chin comes to rest on the palm of her hand.
“Imagine my surprise to find a message waiting for me when I returned to Caribella to check on my affairs,” she muses thoughtfully, eyes falling on the very person that sent her that message. Becoming an Accepted meant some freedom of movement, which of course Valdís had to check that none of her crew were getting any funny ideas. None of them had, for now. But that made the message from Calypso all the more interesting. “What does Neptune's First Mate want with me?”
